This is the "About" section, the place where I explain exactly why I have this site and what it stands for. Ever since March of 2000 I have been an online RP fan. One of my hobbies is creating new characters for me to try out and experiment with. The realm of roleplaying is huge, something that I am glad I came in contact with. Being online can surely be addictive and the by-products of this are my characters. Fern is only one out of many I have created for enjoyment out of the plethora of characters that I have based from certain japanese animation series (like Slayers, Saber Marionette, Lost Universe, etc.), movies (Harry Potter and X-Men) and other such genres.

Fern is based from one of my favorite games: The Legend of Zelda. If you haven't heard of this series you must have been living under a rock for the past sixteen years! The creator, Shigiru Miyamoto, is the mastermind behind this long-running series of fantasy adventure that takes place in the vast world of Hyrule. The first installment in this series was relased in 1986 (titled Legend of Zelda obviously) and was a hit on the original NES system. Later installments such as The Adventure of Link, A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening and Ocarina of Time have been released over the years and have no doubt been successes themselves. If you have not picked up any of these games, do yourself a favor and BUY ONE! You won't be disapointed.

Now that I've set somewhat of a small background of the "legend" that is The Legend of Zelda I will explain why Fern came into existance. Hyrule is full of magic. What suprised me is that, since Hyrule is such a magical land where are all the sorcerers and wizards? Those types of people are a bit lacking in "Zelda" (not that they don't exist, and the people all have the ability to use magic, its just that they're aren't many who try to make a living out of it) so I made Fern. I'm rather partial to magic-users (Fern is my second sorceress character) cause I find them to be rather fun to play and mess with.
